This is hard news to receive for such a strong couple. They have exuded so much love throughout their relationship they truly seemed like a match made in Heaven. The couple gave exclusive details about their separation with The Today Show.
The couple stated, “After much prayer and consideration, we have decided to go into our futures separately but forever connected. We celebrate almost a decade of marriage together and a love that is eternal. There’s no one at fault, we believe this is the next best chapter in the evolution of our love.”
Franklin and Good went on to share that they are appreciative to of had each other in their lives and believe departing is what is best. Good shared that Franklin was supportive and happy for her new lead role in show “Harlem.”
This separation is one no one saw coming and will definitely take time to sink in that it is in fact happening. However, their strong faith and continued love for one another to prosper will serve them well as they embark on their solo journeys.
