Kierra Sheard and Jonathan McReynolds to perform at Disney’s ‘Celebrate Soulfully’ event

Black History is in full effect. Many companies and organizations are celebrating and highlighting Black culture in the month of February. Disneyland has announced they will be expanding their ‘Celebrate Gospel’ music festival into a ‘Celebrate Soulfully,’ event.
The month long event will celebrate through music, stories, and even food. In the past Disneyland has hosted the ‘Celebrate Gospel’ event while Disney World hosted ‘Celebrate Soulfully.’ This year the two have joined forces to celebrate Black History.
The musical event will expand to two Saturday concerts. Gospel singer Kierra Sheard will perform February 19th followed by Jonathan McReynolds on February 26th. The park will offer daily shows featuring Reggae, Jazz, Funk, and many other music forms that are rooted in Black history.
In February Disney will be implementing a soul food menu at select locations, highlighting Black characters such as Black Panther, and supporting Black businesses.
