Singer Rihanna visited the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs campus this week to show support to homeless Veterans by donating food and clothes.
“She was genuinely interested and concerned,” a source told Page Six. “She actually cared. She listened to everyone and distributed everything,”.
Activist Sennett Devermont shared on Instagram how Rihanna listened to the veterans’ struggles of maintaining safe shelter in the city.
The post caption read “Thank you @badgalriri for pulling up with all the love and support and most importantly your ears to listen to Veterans. Shoutout to all those asking questions and wondering why veterans are sleeping in tents, using porta potties, cold and unhealthy meals, curfews, and on a 388 acre property funded in the billions with broken showers,”.
Reportedly, the singer was at the campus “for hours” listening to concerns from the homeless veterans.
