Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty collabs with MSCHF for “Ketchup or Makeup” collection

You could say that Rihanna is in the ketchup business because Fenty Beauty and MSCHF collaborated for ‘Ketchup or Makeup.’ 

Ketchup or Makeup is a fun box where no one knows what they’re buying until they open up the packets. 

The content in the ketchup package is either ketchup or a mystery cosmetic. It is for sure that there will be at least one lip gloss in there. Influencers have stated that they think the lip gloss in the package is Fenty Beauty’s Hot Cherry Gloss Bomb. 

This isn’t MSCHF’s first collaboration. MSCHF is known to put out projects that aren’t deemed conventional.

Just earlier this year, they came out with a shoe with Jimmy Fallon called Gobstomper. And even Lil Nas X’s “Satan Shoes” had people in an uproar and got them sued by Nike. 

Though it’s a beautiful concept, we can’t help but wonder if there’s more to this joint venture. 

This collaboration is fun and light and puts the joy back into the nuance of makeup in the beauty industry. Hopefully we can see more fun projects from Rihanna and Fenty Beauty. 

There’s no doubt that MSCHF will come out with more fun projects. Now we just have to see what Rihanna has up her sleeve for next time.
