“Urban One Honors” set to honor Chlöe, Frankie Beverly, Donald Lawrence and Dionne Warwick

Urban One Honors is back again this year to celebrate individuals who have left an indelible mark on the arts, media, music, and the community. This year’s theme is “Best in Black” and will be bigger than ever with the 20 year anniversary of TV One.

GRAMMY™ Award-winning singer and actress LeToya Luckett will host the red carpet and return as the Backstage Pass host, featuring exclusive interviews with the show’s honorees, performers, and presenters.

Urban One Honors airs on Sunday, February 25, on TV One and simulcast on CLEO TV. 

There will be acknowledgements to many pioneers, including Dionne Warwick, this year’s Lifetime Achievement Honoree; Frankie Beverly, recognized as a Living Legend; Donald Lawrence, applauded for his Inspirational Impact; and Chlöe is observed as the Generation Next Honoree.

Michelle Rice, President of TV One, said, “As we unveil the lineup for this year’s ‘Urban One Honors,’ we are delighted to highlight the incredible musical journeys of Dionne Warwick, Chlöe, Frankie Beverly, and Donald Lawrence. Their selection as honorees is a recognition of their profound impact on both music and culture, spanning generations.”

She continued to say, “These iconic artists have not only shaped the musical landscape but have also contributed significantly to the cultural fabric of our society. Each honoree represents a unique chapter in the story of music, and we are honored to celebrate their enduring legacies at this year’s Urban One Honors: Best In Black.”

There will be special performances by Teyana Taylor, Angie Stone, a reunion from R&B Divas Chante Moore, Keke Wyatt, and Nicci Gilbert plus more. 

Expect this two-hour broadcast to show audiences why TV One has always been dedicated to delivering exceptional content and fostering a deep connection with its audience.
