R&B artist Jor’Dan Armstrong is taking the gospel industry by storm with his music that is heavily influenced by 90’s R&B, and hip-hop.
The 30-year-old producer and actor is a native to Louisiana. He has been performing since he was 5 years old and has recently performed at this year’s Stellar Awards.
In a red carpet interview with The Link Entertainment, he expressed his performance would include a “lil’ bit of swag, lil’ bit of power, and a lil’ bit of Jesus.”
Armstrong’s artistry offers a fresh new perspective to gospel music.
According to his biography, Armstrong is working to classify himself as a gospel artist due to his “commercial mainstream sound.”
You can watch his performance on BET on Sunday, August 1 at 8 p.m. EST.
