On Sunday, rapper Master P took to Instagram to announce that his daughter, Tytyana Miller, passed away at only 29 years old.
Although he does not state exactly what happened he expressed that, “Mental illness & substance abuse is a real issue that we can’t be afraid to talk about.”
Tytyana’s struggles with mental health and substance abuse is something that was openly talked about on the reality show, Growing up Hip Hop. Her father and her brother Romeo Miller continuously encouraged her to get help by going to a rehabilitation center.
In his post, Master P showed gratitude for the support people are showing while asking for some privacy so the family can grieve.
Our hearts, thoughts, prayers, and deepest condolences go out to all of Tytyana’s friends and family.
