Dante’ Pride and Miles Minnick are heating up the air waves with their newest single, “ACT UP.”
The energetic anthem delivers a powerful message to believers everywhere: following Christ doesn’t mean leaving behind your passion, personality, or excitement—it means redirecting it toward a greater purpose.
With ‘Act Up,’ I wanted to challenge the idea that following Christ means you have to lose who you are. God didn’t call us to be less passionate, less creative, or less bold. He called us to use those gifts for His glory. This record is about bringing the same energy, confidence, and excitement people give to the world into the Kingdom. I want listeners to know that living for God is not boring, restrictive, or outdated. It’s the greatest freedom you’ll ever experience, and there’s nothing wrong with acting up for Jesus when you truly understand what He’s done for you, shared Pride.
Pride hails from Decatur, Alabama and currently serves as the Youth Pastor at Change Church in Atlanta, GA.
