Fetty Wap pleads guilty to drug charges
Rapper Fetty Wap pled guilty to federal drug charges.
According to The New York Post, Fetty Wap, whose real name is Willie Maxwell, “…entered the plea to a single count of conspiracy to possess and distribute 500 grams of cocaine before Judge Steven I. Locke at the federal courthouse in Central Islip on Long Island.”
Some ramifications of this pleading guilty is having to serve a minimum of five years in prison and a maximum of 40 years.
The New York Post reports that he told the judge, “I agreed with other people to distribute cocaine.”
In addition to the rapper, there were six other people involved in the case and they all are facing a count of conspiracy to possess and distribute and controlled substances.
