PnB Rock dead at 30

Philadelphia rapper, PnB Rock, most known for his song “Selfish,” was shot amid a robbery at Roscoes Chicken & Waffles in Los Angeles, California on Monday.

According to a post from The Shaderoom, Rock’s girlfriend, Stephanie Sibounheuang, posted and later deleted a photo of her food from the restaurant with the location tagged. 

A graphic video from Twitter depicts the rapper bleeding out on the floor at the popular restaurant on Main Street and Manchester Ave. 

The Los Angeles Times reports that Los Angeles Police Captain Kelly Muniz, “…said a suspect brandished a firearm inside the restaurant and demanded items from the victim. Sources told The Times that Rock was targeted for his jewelry.” 

Muniz gives a more detailed report with ABC 7 at the scene. 

In the video, she announces Rock was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead at 1:59 p.m. The police are also still working on apprehending the suspects involved in this crime. 

Famous DJ, host, and podcaster, Akademiks, tweeted earlier about his interview with Rock, saying that he “talked about a prior situation where he felt some people were trying to do something to him.”

This incident also happened at another LA hotspot, Fairfax Ave., a popular place for shopping.
