Gospel artist, Jokia, caught up with The Link Entertainment on the blue carpet of the Stellar Awards where she spilled on upcoming music endeavors.
“I’m excited, we got some collabs with some of your favorite gospel artists,” Jokia mentioned. “I am an independent artist and to have some of the greatest legends, want to work with me and reach out to me it’s a huge honor.”
When asked about what the Stellar Awards mean to her, Jokia stated that the Stellars are not just another award show, it’s an opportunity to celebrate all gospel musicians and their achievements that have been accomplished all year round.
“We have to honor our own,” said Jokia. “We can’t expect other people to love this music if we don’t. Tonight is about loving our music.”
In regards to new music, Jokia stated that no dates are set, but new music can be expected in 2024. She also gave an exclusive as Mali Music was walking by that she might appear on his upcoming tour.
“If Mali let me go on tour with him then I’m going on tour,” said Jokia.
Mali’s response was, “She’s coming! Count that.”
Jokia also confirmed the return of her recurring role as a reporter on Double Cross which is set to premiere season five in February of 2024.
