Father Can You Hear Me?

Share

Have you had a difficult decision to make? Your prayer went a little like this, Dear God I need guidance and direction. If you ever wanted to start texting or sending emails this would be the time? Sometimes it seems as if God is communicating through Sign Language or giving us the silent treatment. However, we must learn to decipher between our own voice and God’s voice.

Use your G.P.S (God’s Protection System)

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

God will direct your footsteps you just have to have faith to follow. In life we all have choices and we often battle with which is right. Perspective is everything. What we believe to be missed opportunities is really God’s way of protecting us. Remember what is meant for you will never miss you, and what misses you was never meant for you.

Ask and you shall receive

Call to me and I will answer you and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known. (Jeremiah 33;3)

God wants us to call out to him. Too often we feel alone yet we are never alone. Include God in your decision making, confirm with him before you consult others. When you are unsure find peace in knowing God will reveal which decision is right. It may be confirmed in a magnitude of ways, but God will always get his message through, just be ready to receive it.

Actions speak louder than words

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. (James 1:22)

Hearing from God is only half of the battle. We must be doers. God gives us guidance and assignments but do not sit on it, you have a responsibility to follow through. Put your action where your faith is, and represent God.
