Production of the forthcoming film, The Batman has been suspended for the second time this year. The first was due to the coronavirus lockdown, but this time, a member of production has tested positive for the virus.

Without stating who, a spokesperson for Warner Bros. Pictures put out a statement saying “A member of The Batman production has tested positive for Covid-19 and is isolating in accordance with established protocols. Filming is temporarily paused.”

According to Vanity Fair, British actor and star of the film Robert Pattison caught the virus just days after the film resumed production again near London.

The film’s initial release date was set for June 2021, but with this being the second halt in production, it has been delayed to October 20201.

Since the release of these reports, Pattison, 34, has not commented.
