It was reported that Tamar Braxton’s boyfriend David Adesfeso filed a restraining order against the singer regarding a domestic violence incident. Although the restraining order was filed by Adefeso, Braxton claims that he was the initial aggressor in the situation.
According to The Blast, the couple got into a heated argument while driving to check Braxton into a mental health facility. The two were arguing about a recent social media post that David shared with Tamar’s 7-year-old son.
Allegedly, the heated argument turned violent and Adefeso “grabbed her hard” by the arms, which caused bruising. “The Braxton Family Values” TV star claims that she did not grab him until after he became physical with her.
Sources told The Blast, “Any claims that Ms. Braxton was the aggressor and/or abusive are completely false and have no merit. David Adefeso has been upset and abusive since seeing his own true colors on Tamar’s upcoming television show and has been taking it out on Tamar ever since.”
All of this comes only a few months after Braxton was found unconscious and hospitalized. Adefeso was the one who found Braxton unresponsive and called the authorities.
It was reported as an alleged suicide attempt after supposedly drinking and taking multiple pills. She was treated at the hospital for a “possible overdose”.
There was already speculation about the couple’s relationship going downhill after WeTV released her new reality show and how it portrayed her boyfriend.
According to The Blast, Braxton terminated the couple’s relationship and Adefeso has kicked both Braxton and her son out of their downtown Los Angles condo.
