Lil Wayne releases new music after a last-minute pardon from former President Donald Trump




Rapper Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. also known asLil Wayne was released from prison on January 19. Former President Trump in his final act of his presidency pardoned the  38-year-old rapper and several others. 

Upon his release from prison, Carter made an appearance on social media thanking the former President and his attorney Bradford Cohen in a Twitter post. 

“I want to thank President Trump for recognizing that I have so much more to give to my family, my art, and my community. I also want to thank @bradfordcohen for working so diligently to secure another chance for me Love! – Dwayne Michael Carter Jr.”

 The rapper also released his new single titled, “Ain’t Got Time” featuring upcoming singer Foushee. Carter posted on his Twitter page promoting the new single.

Expect more projects from the newly pardoned rapper in the future.
