Pastor Michael Todd preached the third sermon in ‘The Upgrade’ series. The sermon further dived into understanding and recognizing The Holy Spirit. “Will You Take The Next Step?” was visually presented with the scenario of a delivery person coming to your door and how differently people respond. The Holy Spirit told Pastor Todd to focus on three and being obedient he delivered a message that highlighted the importance of all three.

Note 1: The Holy Spirit is my friend.

Scenario: If the Holy Spirit was delivery person there are three ways people may respond, door shutters, door blockers, and door openers.

Scripture: And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgement: of sin because they do not believe in Me (John 16:8-9)

Note 2: (The Holy Spirit) To convince us that we are righteousness of Christ

Note 3: (The Holy Spirit) To convince us that Satan has been defeated

Scripture: So let us stop going over the basic teachings about Christ again and again, Let us go on instead and become mature in our understanding. Surely we don’t need to start again with the fundamental importance of repenting from evil deeds(a) and placing our faith in God. You don’t need further instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgement. (Hebrews 6: 1-2)

Note 4: The Holy Spirit baptizes us in Jesus.

Scripture: For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body (1 Corinthians 12:13)

Note 5: Baptism into salvation secures your future

Scripture: Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)

Note 6: Disciples baptize in water.

Note 7: Baptism into water buries your past.

Note 8: Jesus baptizes us in the Holy Spirit.

Note 9: You need all three

As all sermons this is a message you must listen to yourself. Transformation Church announced that May 23rd will be ‘Flood Sunday.’ Packages for a at home baptism will be sent all over the world for a day of mass baptisms. You have a until May 9th to text Baptism to 828282 to receive your packet if you will like to have a guided baptism.

We are almost halfway through the series and they only continue to bless us.
