She’s a runner, she’s a track star, she will start her own business when it gets hard. Allyson Felix the most decorated female track and field Olympian has launched her own shoe company.

Felix has been bringing awareness to the inequalities and challenges athletes face especially women and mothers. After a rather public separation from popular brand and sponsor Nike, Felix struggled to obtain sponsorship from other footwear companies. Then as the pandemic postponed her from getting on the fifth Olympic team, Felix took matters into her own hands.

Felix announced her company, Saysh which is a lifestyle brand for women. The first shoe ‘Saysh One’ is available for presale and retails for $150. She has also launched ‘Saysh Collective,’ which is a membership that will include exclusive workouts, access to the Saysh community, and more for only $10 a month.

Felix stated her mission with new company, “It’s for that woman who has been overlooked, or feels like their voice hasn’t been heard. That was the biggest thing when I spoke out, was hearing from other women across industries. And having such a connection there, feeling like it’s so much bigger. There’s just that power in the collective.”

Saysh is a company to watch and support. Felix along with her brother, Wes, who is the CEO, and third co-founder Darren Breedveld are on a mission to provide products of quality for women no matter what stage they are embarking in life. Felix will be using her winnings from Tokyo and matching funds from Saysh to donate to Right to Play a humanitarian organization.
