Tamela Mann sang her way into the hearts of fans from “Take Me to The King,” to numerous gospel songs. Mann has brought laughter as Cora, alongside her husband David Mann in Tyler Perry’s shows and movies. The Mann family has always kept their faith at the forefront, worked in unity, and always kept it real.
Mann has announced in an interview with Atlanta Black Star, that a new album is on the way entitled “Overcomer.” She has much to share through her music, and fans will be in for a treat. The gospel singer has worked with a host of other artist throughout her career and is now adding a unique sound to her portfolio. After a conversation with her friend Kirk Franklin where she shared her interest in doing a song with a Caribbean sound. Franklin soon after got the ball rolling after communicating with Wyclef Jean. The collaboration and new sound will be featured on the upcoming album.
Mann has been sharing about her weight loss journey through social media and has not only encouraged fans but has received great support from them as well. She shared that she has lost 55 pounds through following the Weight Watchers program.
Mann has shown no signs of slowing down, instead she is upping her momentum in her career. The new album will for sure feature sides of Tamela Mann that fans have not experienced before. The album is set to release August 6th, 2021.
