Chris Brown is being sued for $20 million by woman who claims she was assaulted

The R&B singer, Chris Brown, is facing a $20 million lawsuit based on rape allegations. The suit was filed Thursday in Los Angeles County court, according to NBC.
The woman in the court documents, referred to as Jane Doe, says the assault took place on December 30, 2020.
The files stated the woman was a professional choreographer, dancer, model, and music artist in Los Angeles.
According to court documents obtained by E! News, Jane Doe claimed that she was invited to a yacht party by Brown.
She says she was on a facetime call with her friend when he took the phone and stated, “he had heard about her music and urged her to head over to Diddy’s home on Star Island as soon as possible”.
She explained that he gave her a “red cup with mixed drinks,” and after finishing her first cup she began to feel a “change in consciousness,” and became “disoriented, and physically unstable.”
According to NBC, Jane Doe expressed that Brown contacted her soon after the incident and “demanded” her to take a plan B to “terminate possible pregnancy.”
The woman said she visited him multiple times after the incident, once the following January, and again in August.
According to NBC, Brown took to Instagram, making a post about the incident on his story stating “I HOPE YALL SEE THIS PATTERN OF [CAP].”
He continued “Whenever I’m releasing music or projects, ‘THEY’ try to pull some real bulls–t.”
The lawyers of Brown have not commented on the alleged assault.
