Facebook Watch’s Red Table Talk returns for its fifth season with musician and actress Janelle Monáe.

After a long hiatus, the season trailer promises tough conversations with a slew of high-profile guests.

The premiere episode featured that talented Janelle Monae, who came out as nonbinary along with discussing her coming out journey. Monáe was also joined by her mother to talk about the effects of her father’s drug addiction.

At the moment it has only been reported that Rachel DeLoache Williams, author of “My Friend Anna,” about Anna Delvey, the fake German ‘heiress’ who inspired Inventing Anna, the parents of Miss USA Cheslie Kryst, who died by suicide this year, “Tinder Swindler” victim Ayleen Charlotte and more will be joining as guests his upcoming season.

This is also the first episode of the series to air after Will Smith’s infamous Oscars slap that resulted with him officially being banned from attending the awards show for 10 years. Jada Pinkett-Smith seemingly addresses the altercation by issuing a statement saying they ‘won’t be using the platform to clear the air anytime soon’ and ‘will speak on things when the time comes.’

The series will continue to be hosted by Jada Pinkett Smith, her daughter, Willow Smith, and her mother, Adrienne Banfield Norris .

We can also look forward to all three of the Smith siblings joining for their own episode without their parents.
