Pastor Michael Todd delivered his sermon Change Clothes, immediately following Transformation Church’s pop up in Atlanta. Atlanta is known for many things and fashion is one of them, which was also the focus of the message. If you feel like it is time for a spiritual makeover, well it just might be time to change clothes.

As always listen for yourself and see what stands out, below are a few notes.

Notes

  1. There is a standard in the kingdom: righteousness
  2. Everything needed to meet the standard is provided
  3. In the kingdom, one size does NOT fit all
  4. The Holy Spirit is a tailor
  5. Tailoring takes transparency
  6. Tailoring takes time
  7. Tailoring takes talking
  8. Tailoring takes trust

Scriptures

If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast,[but do not have love, I gain nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:1-3)

and saying, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.” (Matthew 3:2)

I put on righteousness as my clothing; justice was my robe and my turban. (Job 29:14)

*Matthew 22:1-14*
