Marvin Sapp releases an EP of love songs entitled “If I Were an R&B Singer”

Marvin Sapp is well known for his vocal impact in the gospel industry. However Sapp’s second love is R&B. At a young age he was forced to choose a genre. His decision to sing gospel has afforded him a successful career. Yet the love for songs that highlight romance never left. Sapp has decided to release a once in a career time EP that crosses over to the R&B genre.
The EP entitled “If I Were an R&B Singer,” showcases Sapp’s range. It will feature four love songs that still gives glory to God Sapp explains, “I was clear that we needed to maintain integrity, out of reverence for God and respect for Marvin Sapp and who he is. I think it is easy to walk that line by having integrity. God gave us this beautiful music. He gave us limbs to dance with. He gave us love and companionship. He gave us all these gifts, and we would be remiss to not use these gifts; we just have to do it with integrity.”
The selection of songs will be available on February 14th, just in time for lovers to enjoy on Valentine’s Day. You can listen and purchase on all digital platforms.
