NBC Universal partners with Volition, creating a new beauty industry

NBC Universal is stepping into the beauty industry alongside Volition. NBC known for dominating the entertainment industry has signed a multi-year contract with the crowd sourced beauty company Volition. They have now created a unique never before seen industry within the beauty realm.

The traditional way of promoting beauty products has been used since the beginning of time. A large company has a new line they recruit brand ambassadors such as celebrities along with large and micro influencers to increase visibility and market their new product. However, with this new collaboration, large companies can be excluded from the equation. Now influencers and celebrities can create products and deliver straight to fans and consumers without having to be under an already established brand. This is a complete game changer.

The first product in this new partnership has launched with co-developer Maryse Mizanin, a WWE wrestler, backed by over one million Instagram followers. She has worked with Volition’s chemist to create ‘Yaupon Tea Glow-Awakening Moisturizer.’ The next product will

release in 2021.
