Thirteen Lune, an online platform dedicated to Black and brown owned beauty brands that was invested in by Sean Combs, Naomi Watts, and Gwyneth Paltrow has raised $1 million in capital. The cofounders, Patrick Herning and Nyakio Grieco set out to create a platform to change what it means to be an inclusive beauty retail.

Sean Combs has consistently rooted and promoted people of color, and he shared his reasoning on why he invested in Thirteen Lune. Combs stated, “I believe in the Thirteen Lune mission to build generational wealth for Black and brown business owners. Nyakio and Patrick have the vision and grit to build a world-class platform, and I’m excited to be an investor and adviser.”

The company launched in what is now clear to have been the perfect time. As the company continues to grow and add establish a following more people are able to find products for them by people that look like them. If you are looking for Black owned products make sure to check out Thirteen Lune for all your beauty needs.
