Pixar Animation Studios is bringing all of the most notable characters and properties from a variety of Pixar movies to a new series of short films, Pixar Popcorn, on Disney Plus. The series will consist of 10 episodes of the mini-shorts and will arrive on streaming services January 22nd.

Fan favorite characters from Toy Story,” “The Incredibles,” “Finding Dory,” and the newest edition, “Soul” will be returning to the screens with the mini-shorts along with other beloved Pixar characters.

The Toy Story-themed ‘To Fitness and Beyond’ and Fluffy Stuff with ‘Ducky & Bunny.’ The Incredibles-themed ‘Cookie Num Num,’ ‘Chore Day,’ and ‘The Incredibles Way.’ Finding Dory-themed ‘Dory Finding.’ The Cars-themed ‘Dancing with the Cars.’ The Soul-themed ‘Soul of the City.’

The shorts will be only a minute or two long which is shorter than the usual Pixar. Pixar described them as “bite-size stories created by Pixar Animation Studios’ talented animators.”

Pixar Popcorn is a series that promises to return us to the worlds in which  all of the shorts originated from, and picking up where each movie left off. The shorts plans to dive deeper into the characters and the stories told.

It will be nice to see what Joe Gardner from Soul is doing now in the real world after having a second chance at life.
