Verzuz has been making moves around the music industry and now they are tapping into the fitness industry. You will now be able to hear great music from their musical catalog during Peloton’s at-home workout.

Fitness company Peloton have now partnered with Verzuz creating, “Peloton Verzuz.”

The collab is part of Peloton’s Artist Series, and will allow subscribers at home to workout to artists featured on Verzuz competitions, starting with a Brandy vs. Monica themed Peloton classes. Users will also be able to vote for their team during the class, using the tag function to declare themselves as team #VerzuzBrandy or #VerzuzMonica.

“Imagine having that playlist of that Verzuz and you’re hearing your favorite songs from those artists while you’re going on your journey,” said Swizz Beatz, who created Verzuz alongside Timbaland.

Swizz Beats continued to express how the venture is the perfect move by saying, “I feel like the parallel lines with Verzuz and Peloton are the same.” He added, “You’re in the zone. Your energy is there. Everybody’s in the VIP, the same seats, at the show.”

Earlier this month, brand visionaries, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland announced they were acquiring video-making app Triller.

Gwen Bethel Riley, Peloton’s Head of Music, said in a statement obtained by Variety, “Both Peloton and Verzuz are rooted in engaged communities who show up for each other and celebrate together. Taking the musical phenomena that is Verzuz and revolutionizing it, in a way that is unique to Peloton, will provide our members with a way to access incredible artists and their legendary catalogs across multiple disciplines.”

The Peloton and Verzuz collaboration will not provide live events but all subscribers of Peloton will have access to the Verzuz music playlist. The series will premiere April 5th at 7:00 p.m. eastern time.
