Brotherly Love star Quincy Brown has made allegations against JetBlue airlines after a pilot allegedly grabbed and dragged him onto the jet bridge. The incident took place due to a disagreement regarding Brown’s carry-on luggage during the boarding of a Sunday flight.

On Monday, Feb.28, Brown took to Instagram to further explain his experience with the airline company.

“My assistant had my bag. I was on the plane already. They wouldn’t let him bring it on. He gets on the plane. I let him know I need my bag. That’s not a bag to check. It has my medication, my personal [items]. It has my jewelry. It literally has everything; my personal belongings. Nothing’s in my pocket,” said the singer. “The pilot comes with my bag, tells me to get my f*****g diabetic medication out — first of all, it’s anxiety medication, not that. He looks at me and says, ‘You’re not taking this bag on the plane.’ I say, ‘Yes, I am.’ He said, ‘No, you’re not,’ grabs me and drags me on the jet bridge. That’s when I got my phone out.”

A representative for the airline confirmed the incident. “We take any allegation against our crewmembers seriously and we are investigating,” the rep told Radar. “The safety of our crewmembers and customers is our first priority.”

Brown named Todd Papesh as the pilot who assaulted him.

JetBlue has yet to release a further in-depth statement regarding the incident.
