‘Cashin Out’ rapper Cash Out was indicted last month in Fulton County, Georgia. Allegedly, the metro-Atlanta rapper is facing 13 charges including sex trafficking, rape, racketeering and aggravated sodomy.

The Fulton County District Attorney accuse John Michael Hakeem Gibson, aka Cash Out, of using his celebrity status to lure women into prostitution through social media platforms. Allegedly, he commits the crimes at two locations in Atlanta.

According to XXL, Cash Out has been accused of beating a woman with a belt.

“The most troubling aspect of this case is that women have been victimized and brutalized within our community by people who had a chance to do something else with their lives,” Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis said.

Cash Out pleaded not guilty to most of the charges but additional charges have been included such as racketeering. According to Fulton County deputy district attorney Earnell Winfrey, the rapper could face up to 25-to- life if found guilty.

“We’ve rescued two so far,” explained Winfrey. “Some of these women are our most vulnerable women and he lured them in, let them believe that he cared about them and that he would take care of them, only to flip the script and then begin to pimp them out.”

On Thursday, the rapper took to his Instagram story to address the situation. The message read “The Lord says I am the one who strengthens you, why should you fear mortals who are no more enduring than grass. Have you forgotten the lord who made you? Who stretched out the heavens and laid the earths foundations? Why should you live in constant fear of the fury of those who oppress you of those who are ready to destroy you? Their fury can no longer touch you. Those who are prisoners will soon be set free and be even more prosperous.”

Cash Out is currently sitting behind bars at Fulton County Police.

According to the indictment,  the rapper’s mother Morenika Vinie aka “Mama Cash Out”, Tyrone Orlando Taylor aka “Rooskie,”  Demetrius Lamont Edwards aka “Drama” and Danieele Adams aka “Boots” are additional suspects of the crimes.
