Gospel singer Marvin Sapp has many new projects coming down the pipeline, from his TV One biopic to the upcoming release of his 15th album ‘Substance.’ Sapp’s album is one that speaks to the challenges and blessings that the world experienced during the pandemic.
“After everything that we have gone through over the past two years, I wanted to deliver an album with biblically-based lyrical content that is both fortifying and entertaining,” said Sapp.
This project is special to Sapp due to it being the first album released by his own label ‘Elev8 Media & Entertainment.’ The album is also the first to be recorded in Sapp’s newly built Fort Worth, Texas studio.
Fans can now pre-order the album via all digital music providers and begin listening to two songs which are “All In Your Hands,” and “You Kept Me.” These singles serve as a reminder to cast all your cares and burdens unto the Lord and to also express gratitude for being kept in such an unprecedented time.
“When we look at the catastrophic numbers of people who did not come out on the side of this, we have to thank God and acknowledge that the reason we did is because God kept us,” said Sapp.
