When life becomes swamped with a myriad of problems beyond our control, it is easy to believe that we have to deal with things by ourselves.
Issues and the emotions that come along with them can become so consuming, that we forget we serve a God who is always with us in all aspects of our lives.
A God that never leaves us alone with anything that we face.
Relying solely on myself is something I almost fell victim to this week. Recently, I have been grappling with a family situation that is directly affecting me. My mind has constantly been plagued with ways that I can help solve the situation, forgetting that the issue is out of my hands. I am only responsible for my actions, and letting God handle everything.
In a moment where I became really upset, God reminded me of his promises: He is always here and He will never forsake me. He will hold my hand through every trial that I face.
Those three facts reassured me that God will always be right next to me when me or anyone I care about is having a hard time. I have a higher power to rely on outside of myself, and He is the ultimate problem solver.
As the rest of this week continues, I hope anyone reading this is reminded of God’s infinite presence in our lives. No matter what you are going through, God will always remain faithful, walking with you every step of the way.
His Holy Spirit dwells in us, providing the strength to endure whatever curveballs life may throw. You will never have to deal with anything alone.
