The Stellar Gospel Music Awards brings the biggest night in gospel music with an uproar of praise and Black excellence to the stage. The show has been highlighting gospel music and community icons for 37 years.
This year’s show made strides, being hosted by two powerhouse women Jekalyn Carr and Kierra Sheard — which is the first show in Stellar history to be hosted by a woman duo. The show was taped live in Atlanta, Georgia.
The night featured appearances from gospel artists such as Kirk Franklin and Maverick City Music, Erica Mason, Wande and many more. The show will air Sunday, August 7 at 8 PM ET/PT on BET, BET Her, and BET International.
