Culture’s BIGGEST Night is back and live from Los Angeles! This year’s show will pay homage to the groundbreaking legacy of Hip Hop throughout the telecast to celebrate the genre’s 50th anniversary.
As for nominations…Coming in at the top spot of seven is none other than Drizzy Drake. His nominations include ‘Best Male Hip Hop Artist,’ ‘Best Group’ with 21 Savage, ‘Best Collaboration’ with Future and Tems (“Wait for U”), and ‘Album of the Year,’ for Her Loss with 21 Savage.
GloRilla has completely glowed up within the last year. She has gone from being a BET Amplified Artist to earning six BET Awards nominations. Among the awards that she is up for are ‘Best Female Hip Hop Artist,’ ‘Album of the Year’ for Anyways, Life’s Great and ‘Best Collaboration’ for her features with HItkidd (“F.N.F. Let’s Go”) and Cardi B (“Tomorrow 2”).
Every artist could probably learn a thing or two from Uncle Kirk (Franklin). He’s been blazing the charts since the 90s and always finds a way to create music that is appealing to all. He teamed up with the powerhouse Maverick City Music and together they released an album entitled, “Kingdom,” which has earned them three nominations.
Beyonce, Burna Boy, Chris Brown and Coco Jones are among many others that are nominated this year. Catch the BET Awards 2023 on BET on Sunday, June 25 at 8 PM ET/ PT.
