Marquis Dolford set to record first live EP, “Converge”

Singer, songwriter and producer Marquis Dolford will be having his first ever live recording, for his new EP “Converge” at Capital Turnaround in Washington, DC on August 5th.

“We got a live recording coming up this August. I’m super excited about it. It’s going to be amazing featuring the dopest young worship leaders in our area. It’s going to be fire,” said an excited Dolford during his first time at the 2023 Stellar Awards.

In addition to the recording, he will also launch his new worship collective and worship ministry training academy, “BlēvWorship,” a ministry made up of all teens and young adults.

Dolford is known for his genuine love for God and “Gospel/CCM mashup” musical style where he is emerging as a transformational leader seeking to change the way this generation sees and worships God. He has worked with many award-winning artists including Tamela Mann, Mary Mary, Marvin Sapp, Tye Tribbett, Beverly Crawford, Anthony Brown, Will McMillan, Jarmone Davis, Vashawn Mitchel, and Donnie McClurkin, both on stage and in studio. 

Under the leadership of Pastor Anthony Vaughn, Dolford was recently appointed as Worship Pastor at Celebration Church in Alexandria, Virginia.

He is now preparing to record his new live EP with “Satisfied” being the lead single which encourages his peers to see and seek God in every part of their lives.
