Jemele Hill and Cari Champion are joining the streaming service CNN+ with a weekly show to discuss big stories in politics, sports, entertainment and culture.

‘Cari & Jemele: Speak.Easy‘ will debut this Spring once the streaming service launches.

According to CNN, the co-hosts are looking forward to joining CNN+ with one another.  “The CNN family is a perfect partner for us because they understand our chemistry and appreciate that our boldness is our strength,” Hill reported to CNN.

Champion added “I’m so thrilled to join CNN+. The beauty and authenticity of my friendship with Jemele has always been at the heart of our creative partnership. I couldn’t be more excited to be part of the CNN family and share our brand of ‘speakeasy’ with the world.”

The pair have collaborated and hosted a weekly talk show before by the name of Cari and Jemele (Won’t) Stick to Sports on streaming service Vice TV.

Earlier in their careers, Hill spent more than a decade writing for The Undefeated and hosting His and Hers, and SportsCenter while Champion has spent 8 years at ESPN co-hosting SportsNation, SportsCenter Coast to Coast and being a moderator of First Take.

This dynamic duo will add great commentary and value to CNN+.
