Netflix introduces its first African reality show titled ‘Young, Famous & African.’  

The reality show produced by Urban Brew Studios follows a group of famed, affluent young media individuals hailing from South Africa, Nigeria, and East Africa as they build and pursue their careers.

Africa’s new reality stars will give millions of individuals a look into their lives as the navigate the City of Gold, Johannesburg “JoBurg”, South Africa

The cast includes Innocent Idibia (2Baba) and wife, Annie Macauley-Idibia, Diamond Platnumz, Zari the Boss Lady by way of Uganda, NakedDJ, Nadia Nakai, Swanky Jerry, Andile Ncube, Kayleigh Schwark.

‘Young, Famous & African’ will give our fans an insider look into our very entertaining, very busy lives.” cast member Zari the Boss Lady excitedly stated.

Martin Asare Amankwa and Peace Hyde are the co-creators and executive producers on the project. 

Adelaide Joshua Hill will also be executive producing the show “to show a different side of Africa to the world and highlight the amazing people we have on our continent.”

Young, Famous & African is a depiction of a world that has never been seen before, highlighting authentic stories and unrivalled access to some of the most celebrated celebrities.” said Amankwa. 

“Young, Famous & African presents an Africa that is vibrant, beautiful, glossy and sexy to the world and we are super proud and excited for the world to see it.” said Hyde.

The unscripted show will produce seven episodes and is set to premiere March 18th.
