Mary J Blige, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem, along with special guest 50 Cent and Anderson Paak set the Super Bowl LVI stage on fire.

The group of phenomenal artists gave a dynamic performance that is sure to go down in history. Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, and Kendrick Lamar made their performance an ode to Los Angeles and Compton.

They incorporated staples from Compton, California such as Tam’s Burgers #21 and a map that outlines the city.

Mary J. Blige had the whole audience grooving to classic songs from her catalog such as “Family Affair” and “No More Drama.” She also made sure to step when it came to her performance outfit.

It was also amazing to see special guests 50 Cent and Anderson Paak take the stage. They were the cherry on top of such an amazing night.

As a Los Angeles native, my heart was filled with pride watching people from my city put on for our city on such a large scale, particularly in one of my favorite places; Inglewood, California. Dre and Snoop Dogg had all of Los Angeles crip walking right along with them in their homes.

This year‘s halftime show embodies the energy of Black LA. It was even more amazing to witness the Rams win.
