Savage x Fenty tries to ‘Pon De Replay’ their success with physical stores

Rihanna’s lingerie company, Savage X Fenty, recently announced their next business voucher; the placement of five Savage X Fenty stores across America.
The stores will be located in Los Angeles, Houston, Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C. The Las Vegas store opened on January 22 and the rest of the stores opening up throughout the beginning of 2022.
The idea of Savage X Fenty opening physical stores dates back to 2021 when their Co-President, Chief Merchandising and Design Officer, Christsine Pendarvis, told Bloomberg,”[you’ll] absolutely see some stores in 2022.”
Pendarvis told Insider, “…customers who don’t feel comfortable purchasing online,” is part of the reason for the physical stores.
Savage X Fenty launched as an online store in May of 2018. The company is currently valued at $1 Billion dollars.
