Dionne Warwick biopic set in motion; Teyana Taylor confirmed to play R&B songstress 

After many years of fanout cry and general public intrigue, Teyana Taylor has officially been confirmed to play Dionne Warwick in an upcoming biopic. 

In a confirmed post on Instagram, famous music director Damon Elliot, known for his work with Macy Gray, Destiny’s Child and of course, Dionne Warwick, stated in a caption, “It’s Official… we are funded and have a shoot date! ELLIOTT ENTERTAINMENT IS DOING BIG THINGS IN 2024!!” 

Teyana Taylor confirmed her excitement and joy with an additional IG post saying, “And just like that.. 2020MORE Blessings! 🌹🙏🏾❤️ Ms. Dionne Warwick… A woman of great statue, poise and elegance, with a fiery spirit — Realizing I was looking at my future self. My reflection without a mirror…”

The resemblance that the two women share together is something that is truly uncanny. 

This will not be Teyana Taylor’s first time on the silver screen, her recent portrayal in the movie, A Thousand and One has gained her several awards such as the Best Breakthrough Performance at the National Board of Review and another Best Breakthrough Performance at the Toronto Film Critics Association.
