This pandemic has encouraged many gospel singers to use their voice for good to encourage all in such a difficult time. Cece Winans is adding her voice through her new album entitled “Believe For It.”
In an interview, Winans shared her sense of urgency with releasing this album. She stated, “This message is something that our nation, literally our whole nation and the world, needs to hear.” This is Winans’ first live album, and she described the experience as being intense and memorable. Winans purpose of a live album was to give listeners the same audible experience as attending a concert.
The songs selected were intentional. Winans shared that she wrote many of the songs but also incorporated other songwriters. One song that can be heard on the album is “King Of Glory,” written by Todd Dulaney and performed with Michael W. Smith.
The pandemic has impacted everyone from every part of the world. Winans believes this album has something for somebody. Winans message to listeners, “My prayer is that when people hear it, they will worship with me and that will be magnified in a huge way.”
