Transformation Church
In 2021 God has revealed the word of the year for Transformation Church through Pastor Mike Todd to be anchored. The second series was released Sunday called “Paper Chasers.” At first glance one would conclude this series is solely about money, however Pastor Todd delivers a word that goes far beyond the subject of money.
The main takeaway, chase or pursue the kingdom of God and everything else will follow. A repeated message was to not be a paper chaser but rather a purpose chaser.
Scripture: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33)
Note 1.
God doesn’t have a problem with paper, God has a problem with your priorities.
Note 2.
Money should never be the focus, it should be the fruit.
Note 3.
You are either a paper chaser or a purpose chaser
Scripture: He who is faithful in what is least faithful also in much; and he who is unjust also in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches. (Luke 16:10)
Note 4.
The spirit of mammon is a belief that we don’t need God if we have riches.
Note 5.
Money is not the answer to your problems, God is always the answer to your problems.
Note 6.
Just because you have experienced prosperity, does not mean you are in purpose.
Scripture: You can make many plans, but the Lord’s purpose will prevail. (Proverbs 19:21)
Conclusion: This series is much needed especially in a time where financial status plays a huge role within our society. Pastor Todd stresses that money should be a byproduct and not a focal point. God will provide, but your priorities must be in order.
